1. PDFEscape - This is an excellent program for writing/editing PDF's on your computer and it is completely free. You can login with your Google Account.
2. EDpuzzle - This is a great app to use with your Google Classrooms. This website allows you to use videos, crop them for what you want the students to view, add questions to the video for students to answer, and post it all to their Google Classroom. I really like this website! Great for tutorials, adding to your lessons, whatever you can think of to use if for will be great!
3. Quizlet - Quizlet is an excellent app for reviewing with your students. Your or they can create flashcards for multiple tasks. You can also set up your own classes for your students. Once the students, or you, have created a set of cards, there are different games that you can play with the students to help them review. One of my favorites to play with the students was Quizlet.live. They have also added a diagram feature that you should check out! Let me know if you have any questions.
4. Remind - Ever send your students a message but they didn't look at it on Schoology? The Remind app is a great way to connect with them. You can set up as many groups/classes as you would like to use. You then give your students the code for that class and they can join on their cell phones or iPads. All phone numbers are kept confidential by the app. It is a great way to remind them to bring items to class, study for a test/quiz, etc. You can set the reminder up to be sent out at a specific time. It comes in handy!
5. Pear Deck - A Google Slides Add-On
If you have used Nearpod, this is very similar. First, open your PowerPoint/Keynote in your Google Drive as a Google Slide or create a new Google Slide. Then you will need to click on Add-ons and choose Pear Deck. Follow the instructions to add it to your Google Slides account. Watch the video for more information.
